A platform grown out of a real store.
The best commerce platforms were born inside real stores — founders who couldn't find software they liked and built their own. Bizdia runs the same playbook — on purpose, and in the open.
Our founding merchant, Seifelden, resells computer memory and drives: thin margins, and a catalog where one physical part fits a thousand different machines. Every real need that store has — pushing orders to fulfillment, branding a storefront, and (in development) a fitment catalog — we build once, as a platform module.
That inventory of modules isBizdia. Seifelden is tenant number one: the design partner, the proving ground and the revenue justification, all at once. There's no throwaway store codebase to discard later — the storefront, the integrations, the themes and the (in-development) fitment engine are platform assets a merchant configures.
The gap we're filling
We ran a 2026 bake-off across the credible open-source commerce stacks. The finding was blunt: none ship turnkey multi-tenant "be-your-own-store-platform" — self-signup, per-tenant domains, per-tenant billing — in their free core. It's always an enterprise SKU or a custom build. And the mainstream hosted platforms get expensive and rigid once your catalog crosses a thousand-plus listings mapping to a handful of SKUs.
Cheap, self-hosted, own-your-database multi-tenant commerce for any store — with a fitment catalog engine as the range-topping edge. First for ourselves, then as a product.
Two roles, one codebase.
The platform and the store it serves are cleanly separated — which is exactly what lets one deployment serve every tenant.
Prove it on a real store
Every module earns its place by serving a live merchant with real orders, real SEO and real margins on the line.
Open it to other merchants
Self-signup, metered billing and custom-domain automation turn the proving ground into a product other resellers can buy.
You own your data
Self-hosted, exportable, on the open core. Being your own platform has to mean owning the box — not renting a slice of someone else's.
Own your store. Sell anything. Keep your margins.
Provision a real store in minutes — your store, your data, your domain. 0% transaction fees, no lock-in, and card-free to start.
